The APS National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2025–2026 sets a standard 46 to 60 minute consultation at $318. To keep therapy accessible, we offer rates below this.

Appointments

Sessions are 50 minutes

We will discuss whether weekly or fortnightly sessions suit you best. Once decided, a session is booked in for you. Appointments can be rescheduled if unforeseen circumstances arise, and we accommodate changes as best we can.

Fees

With a Mental Health Care Plan

$280

Per 50 minute consultation, where you have an MHCP referral through your GP. This includes time spent outside your session on the additional administrative and reporting requirements Medicare documentation involves.

Reduced rate

On enquiry

Applies if you do not have an MHCP, once your Medicare-subsidised sessions have been used, or if you hold a concession card.

Medicare rebate

A GP referral under a Mental Health Care Plan is required to access Medicare rebates, available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year if eligible.

Rebate per session: $96.65
Out-of-pocket cost: $183.35

Your rebate may be higher if you have reached the Medicare safety net. The full session fee is paid before your appointment, and you will receive a receipt to claim your rebate directly from Medicare afterwards.

Payments & cancellations

Payment is by direct deposit 24 hours prior to your appointment. If payment is not received, your appointment time is not confirmed and may be allocated to another patient.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, 24 hours notice is required. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur the full fee. As regular weekly or fortnightly sessions are encouraged, that time is reserved for you.
