Mental Health First Aid
Nationally recognised courses in recognising and responding to mental health problems and crises. Run as full-day and multi-session formats for workplaces, schools and community groups.
What is Mental Health First Aid?
Mental Health First Aid is the same as Physical First Aid. It is the “First” response a person can give to someone who is experiencing a mental health episode or crisis, until appropriate professional help can be arranged, or the crisis resolves.
All courses are accredited by Mental Health First Aid Australia and provide participants with formal accreditation valid for 3 years, just like a Senior First Aid certificate. The courses below are based on international guidelines developed through expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems along with mental health professionals.
All our training and workshops are held in our West Perth office, or can be done on site at your organisation. Courses do have a minimum participant requirement to meet Mental Health First Aid Australia’s guidelines. For workplaces or larger groups, a group price and program can be tailored to your individual needs.
